agreements have been reached with RightTrack/Universal Music UK; Universal Music South Africa; a-Peer Shanghai Synergy Media Group; and KDigital Media for global release of David Aldo's new album this fall in the UK, South Africa, China, Hong Kong, Macao, and South Korea. David's two prior releases generated 7 number one records on the international singles charts.
David Aldo, dubbed the “Artist To The Stars”, David is now preparing for the release of his new album.
David recently served as the new lead singer for the iconic music group ‘Blood Sweat and Tears’ throughout 2013. The South African born, now Los Angeles resident has built a career on hit singles, world tours performing with international superstars and being dubbed the “Artist To The Stars” by being the first call performer for celebrity clientele such as Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, James Caan, Clive Davis and Elton John as well as making his performances a staple at the world famous Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
David Aldo released his last album ‘Halfway to Memphis’ in South Africa. The first single ‘When You Love Someone So Much" debuted at No. 26 in South Africa on its first week of release and eventually reached the #2 spot on the International Pop Charts. "Wheres the Good in Goodbye" went to No.1 in and "Grace", "Someday" and "Just You" went to No.1 as well.
David toured with Lionel Richie on his Africa tour, playing sold out venues and stadiums. During the tour, his single ‘Someday’ topped the SA charts for 3 weeks at No.1 in August, and ‘Could’ve Been” reached the No.2. ‘Just You’ also went to No.1 which led to David opening up for Crosby, Stills and Nash in New York.
